FOR 1POUND LOAF
1 teaspoon Active dry yeast
1 Three fourths cup Allpurpose flour
One half cup Yellow cornmeal
One half teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Molasses
1 tablespoon Olive oil
5 One half ounce Warm water
FOR 1 1/2POUND LOAF
1 One half teaspoon Active dry yeast
2 One half cup Allpurpose flour
Three fourths cup Yellow cornmeal
1 teaspoon Salt
1 One half tablespoon Molasses
1 One half tablespoon Olive oil
1 cup Warm water
This Southwest Indian bread combines the highrising texture of white bread
with the crunchiness of corn bread. It is excellent with a good, hot
Southwestern chili. Note that allpurpose flour is used instead of bread
flour in this recipe.
Add ingredients to your Bread Machine pan in the order given.
This recipe can be used with the regular or rapid bake cycles.
