Recipe - Whole-Wheat Raisin Bread

One half cup White Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
2 cup WholeWheat Flour
One fourth cup Melted Shortening
1 One half cup Buttermilk; Or Sour Milk
One fourth cup Packed Brown Sugar
One fourth cup Molasses
1 cup Raisins
Mix white flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and wholewheat flour in
a bowl. Add shortening, milk, brown sugar and molasses; stir until blended.
Mix in raisins. Spoon into a greased loaf pan, and bake in a 375F oven for
4550 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
