Recipe - White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies

One half cup Butter
One half cup Shortening
Three fourths cup Brown sugar; packed
One half cup White sugar
1 Egg
1 One half teaspoon Vanilla
2 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
One half teaspoon Salt
6 ounce White chocolate chips
7 ounce Macadamia nuts
Beat butter, shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla well. Combine dry
ingredients and add to butter mixture. Stir in white chocolate and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350
for 810 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
