Recipe - Whisky On Old Rocks
Categories: Nordic, Nosh, Whisky On Old Rocks
3 Good measures of a peaty
malt whisky
A handful of chipped ice
Chilled highball glass
Here's an idea that couldn't be simpler. ScotchontheRocks (except that
in our show on the Briksdalsbreen glacier we used chipped ice off the
glacier that was probably over a couple of hundred years old)
If using ice from the home fridge, place the frozen cubes in a clean tea
towel and bash with a rolling pin until it resembles fine chips and half
fill a highball glass and pour the Scotch over. Swirl around and enjoy!
We used a good blend, not expensive single malt like Famous Grouse.
