Recipe - Weepy Salad

Categories: Appetizers, Salads, Weepy Salad
Ingredients:

1 Head lettuce in small chunks
One half To 1 cup mayonnaise for a
thin cover
1 Red onion (or white) cut or sliced up
very thin
3 teaspoon Granulated sugar
1 One half cup Cooked peas, fresh or frozen
1 One half cup Swiss cheese cut in strips
6 Bacon slices cooked and
crumbled

Place one third lettuce chunks in bottom of bowl. Spread a few spoons of
mayonnaise over top. Layer one third of thin onion slices over. Sprinkle
lightly with sugar, about 1 tsp. Sugar all the onion as this causes them to
weep. Put on one third of peas followed by one third cheese. Repeat layers
twice. Cover and chill for 23 hours. Before serving, sprinkle bacon over
top. Do not toss. Yield: 4 Typed in MMFormat by cjhartlin@msn.com Source:
