Recipe - Violet Vinegar

2 tablespoon White beeswax
2 tablespoon Lanolin
9 tablespoon Mineral oil
One half teaspoon Borax (sodium borate)
3 tablespoon Rose water
One fourth teaspoon Essence of violet oil
Place beeswax, lanolin, and mineral oil in the top of an enamel, or glass
double boiler. Heat until thoroughly melted. Dissolve Borax in warmed rose
water and add this to beeswax mixture. Remove from heat. Stir vigorously
with a wooden spoon while mixture cools and thickens. Then add essence of
violet. Continue beating until well blended. Jar and store in refrigerator
if you wish.
