2 cup Cake flour
1 One half cup Sugar
One half cup Cocoa
1 teaspoon Salt
PART B
1 cup Cold water
1 cup Shortening
PART C
1 teaspoon Soda to
One half cup Boiling water
PART D
3 Egg whites; stiffly beaten
So I'm sending along some of favorite foods my Mom used to fix in the 40's
and 50's. Her name is Veva.
Sift part "A" into a mixing bowl. Add part "B". Beat with mixer at high
speed for 2 ins. Add part "C". Beat 1 minute more. Fold in 3 stiffly beaten
egg whites. Bake in 9x13 inch cake pan until done in center. No time given.
