Recipe - Veggies In A Dip

2 cn Chickpeas, drained and
mashed (10 One half ounce ea)
1 One half cup Finely chopped pecans
1 One half cup Wholewheat bread crumbs
1 One fourth cup Finely chopped spinach
Three fourths cup Grated carrot
One fourth cup Chopped green pepper
One fourth cup Chopped red pepper
6 Shallots, chopped
2 tablespoon Chopped celery
1 tablespoon Chopped fresh parsley
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One fourth cup Mayonnaise
2 tablespoon Butter or margarine
Combine chickpeas, pecans, bread crumbs, spinach, carrot, green and
red pepper, shallots, celery, parsley and mayonnaise. Shape into 6
patties.
Saute patties in butter, cooking until browned on both sides.
