Recipe - Veggi-Chili

6 cup Water (up to 8)
2 cup Beef broth
3 Carrots, minced (up to 4)
4 Potatoes, minced (up to 5)
1 cup Corn
24 ounce Tomato sauce
1 cn (16oz) chili hot beans
1 pound Hamburger or ground turkey
Salt, pepper, onion, and
chili powder to taste
Bring water and broth to a boil in a dutch oven. Add carrots and potatoes
(and onions if desired), reduce heat, and simmer for 45 min. to 1 hour. Add
corn. In a skillet, brown meat. Drain and season with salt and pepper to
taste. Add meat, tomato sauce, and beans to soup. Season with chili
powder to taste (15 tblesp.?) Continue to cook over low heat until
flavors are thoroughly blended, 1530 min. (or everyone is so hungry from
the smell they can't take it anymore!)
