Recipe - Veggamole

4 lg (1 One half cups) broccoil stems
without flowerets, chopped
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
One fourth teaspoon Ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon Garlic powder
1 small Tomato, minced
1 cn (4ozs.) green chilies,
chopped
1 tablespoon Chopped sweet onion
Yields 2 cups
Here is a lowfat alternative to traditional guacamole
Over high heat, bring pot of water to a boil. Add broccoli; cook until
tender 6 to 7 min. and drain, or microwave, covered, for 4 min. until
tender. In a food processor, combine broccoli, lemon juice, cumin, and
garlic powder. Process until smooth. Transfer to a bowl; stir in tomato,
green chilies, and onion. Chill until ready to serve. Makes 2 cups
