Recipe - Vegetable Kebabs

375 g Selection of vegetables;
(12oz)
2 teaspoon Mixed herbs
4 tablespoon Olive oil
1. Make a selection of vegetables for example celery, aubergines, leeks,
courgettes, peppers, onions, tomatoes, cauliflower, mushrooms (all raw).
Cut into 2inch (5cm) lengths and marinate in olive oil and dried mixed
herbs for about an hour, turning them occasionally. Skewer and grill under
a medium heat for 1520 minutes, adding later courgettes which take 10
minutes to cook, and tomatoes and mushrooms, which take only 5. Turn
occasionally, until they are cooked through. You are in for a delicious
surprise !

NOTES : It is hard to imagine that these kebabs can compete with
traditional meat or fish ones. But they do: they are quite extraordinarily
delicious, especially when served with Herb Sauce and Fried Rice.
