PUDDING
6 sl Bread
1 cup Cream
4 Eggs; well beaten
1 cup Milk
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
One fourth teaspoon Salt
SAUCE
2 tablespoon Flour
1 cn (large) Evaporated Milk; (I
use 1 pint Half & Half)
One half Stick margarine
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Break bread in large pieces, place in baking dish. Combine all ingredients
and pour over the bread. Mix and sprinkle over above: 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
and One fourth cup sugar. Dot with butter and bake at 375ø for one hour. This is
best served warm. (See Sauce recipe below)
Mix ingredients for Sauce and cook until thickened.
