Recipe - Texas Chili Chicken Stew

2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
One half cup Chopped onion
1 cup Chopped green pepper
1 Garlic clove
One fourth cup Flour
1 teaspoon Chili powder
One half teaspoon Basil
One fourth teaspoon Oregano
2 tablespoon Chopped mild green chilies
2 cn Chicken broth (12 oz)
2 cup Cooked chicken, minced
1 cn Chopped stewed tomatoes
(8 oz)
1 cn VEGALL Mixed Vegetables,
With liquid (16 oz)
1. Heat oil in 2quart pot. Cook onion and green pepper until tender, but
not browned.
2. Add garlic and stir in flour, chili powder, basil, oregano, chilis,
chicken broth and minced chicken.
3. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Stir in tomatoes and VEGALL and cook 10 minutes longer.
