Recipe - Taste Of Home Taco Bake

1 pound Ground beef
1 small Onion; chopped
Three fourths cup Water
1 pack Taco seasoning; (1One fourth oz.)
1 cn Tomato sauce; (15oz.)
8 ounce Shell macaroni; cooked and
drained
1 cn Chopped green chilies;
(4oz.)
2 cup Cheddar cheese; shredded
In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion over medium heat; drain. Add the
water, taco seasoning and tomato sauce; mix. Bring to a boil; reduce heat
and simmer for 20 minutes. Stir in macaroni, chilies and 1One half cups of
cheese. Pour into a greased 11/2qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with the
remaining cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until heated

91097, used One half cup water and added a can of corn. It filled a 2 quart
casserole plus a small (1 serving) casserole. Very good dinnerserved it
with Mixed Vegetable Salad.
