Recipe - Tangy Banana Bars

Ingredients:

JUDI M. PHELPS
1 cup Brown sugar; firmly packed
One half cup Margarine or butter
1 Jar apricot preserves10 oz
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 Eggs
1 Three fourths cup All purpose flour
One half teaspoon Baking powder
One half teaspoon Baking soda
1 cup Bananas; thinly cut or sliced up about
2 medium
Three fourths cup Nuts; chopped (your choice)
Powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9inch pan. In large bowl, combine
brown sugar, margarine, preserves, vanilla, and eggs; blend well. Lightly
spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. By hand, stir in remaining
ingredients except powdered sugar; mix just until blended. Pour into
prepared pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 3040 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center
comes out clean. Cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into
bars. Makes 36 bars. 2 bars = 228 calories, 8 g fat.
