Recipe - Tahoe Brunch

12 sl White Bread Slices crusts
Removed
3 tablespoon Butter to spread on
Bread
One half cup Butter
One half pound Mushrooms
2 cup Onions finely chopped
1 pound Italian Sausage
1 pound Cheddar Cheese grated
5 Whole Eggs
2 One half cup Milk
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
3 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
1 teaspoon Nutmeg
Salt And Pepper to taste
Butter bread, set aside.
Melt One half cup butter, saute onions & mushrooms.
Grease 13 x 9 casserole. Layer One half bread, mushrooms & onions, sausage, &
cheese.
Mix eggs, milk, mustards, nutmeg, salt, & pepper. Pour over casserole,
cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.
