Recipe - Swiss Creamed Peas

6 cup Frozen peas; 3 10oz pkg.
2 cup Sliced green onions
3 tablespoon Butter or margarine
2 tablespoon Flour
2 cup Whipping cream
1 teaspoon Finely shredded lemon peel
1 One half cup Shredded Swiss cheese
In a large saucepan, cook peas according to package directions. Meanwhile,
in a medium saucepan, cook onions until tender, but not brown. Blend in
flour and One half teaspoon salt. Add cream and lemon peel. Cook and stir until
thickened and bubbly. Add cheese and stir until cheese is melted. Do not
boil. Drain peas; return to large saucepan. Add sauce; stir to coat peas.
Serves 12. Onehalf hour preparation time. Easy!
