Recipe - Strawberry Custard

Three fourths cup Sugar
1/3 cup Allpurpose flour
2 One fourth cup Milk
5 Eggs,beaten
1 tablespoon Orangeflavored liqueur or
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pt Fresh strawberries, hulled,
cut or sliced up
Mix sugar and flour in medium saucepan; stir in milk until blended. Cook
over mediumhigh heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Stir One half cup
milk mixture into eggs, stir egg mixture into milk mixture. Cook over low
heat, stirring constantly until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from
heat; stir in liqueur. Cool to room temperature, stirring occasionally.
Refrigerate, covered, until chilled, about 2 hours. Stir in berries. Yield:
