Recipe - Strawberry-Banana Squares

One half pound Vanilla wafers; crushed
2 One half cup Confectioner's sugar
1 Stick butter
2 Eggs
1 qt Strawberries; cut or sliced up
2 Bananas; cut or sliced up
Nuts; if desired
One half pt Cream; whipped

Blend softened butter and confectioner's sugar, beating until creamy. Add
eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each. Fold in crumbs. Spread evenly in
2One half quart shallow dish. Add strawberries and bananas as next layer,
spread even ly with whipped cream and sprinkle with more wafer crumbs.
Refrigerate. Slice or cut in squares to serve. Serves 16.
