Recipe - Strawberries And Molded Devonshire Cream

1 Envelope (1 Tbsp) unflavored
gelatin
Three fourths cup Cold water
1 cup Sour cream, at room
temperature
1 cup Whipping cream
One half cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
2 pt Fresh strawberries, cut or sliced up
1. In saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over water; then dissolve over low heat.
Stir into sour cream, whisking lightly to smooth out lumps. Set aside.
2. In mixing bowl, beat cream, gradually adding sugar, until soft peaks
form. Stir in vanilla and sourcreamgelatin mixture.
3. Pour into 1quart mold, rinsed first with cold water. Chill until
firm. Unmold on serving plate. Surround with cut or sliced up berries, sweetened to
taste, if needed. Slice mold to serve and top each serving with berries.
