Recipe - Stout Ala Guinness

8 pound Pale ale malt
Three fourths pound Crystal
1 pound Roasted barley
1 pound Flaked barley
One fourth pound Chocolate malt
One fourth pound Wheat malt
Hops to 1012 HBU
Wyeast Irish yeast

Standard mashing procedure used. The beer turned out very well, and I got
lots of good comments. It's a matter of taste, but if you prefer it a bit
drier, you might reduce the crystal malt or drop it entirely, or for this
gravity of stout, perhaps up the roasted barley to 1.25 pounds.
