Recipe - Stir Fried Beef With Anise Hyssop

Ingredients:

1 pound Steak; cut across the grain
into strips 3 inches long
and One half inch wide
One half cup Chopped anise hyssop flowers
and leaves
1/3 cup Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Brown sugar
2 tablespoon Sherry
2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
One fourth cup Water
2 teaspoon Cornstarch dissolved in:
2 teaspoon Water

Combine flank steak with chopped anise hyssop, soy sauce, brown sugar, and
sherry. Marinate at least 2 hours.

Remove meat from marinade, reserving liquid. Heat wok, add oil and stir
fry meat for 3 minutes. Add water and marinade and heat to boiling. Add
cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened.

Serve over rice.
