Recipe - Stir-Fried Ginger Beef (Nua Pad King)

One fourth cup Vegetable oil
1 Garlic clove, minced
10 ounce Top sirloin steak, cut into
1/4x1inch strips
One half cup Fresh ginger, peeled and
very thinly cut or sliced up
1 tablespoon Fish sauce (nam pla)
1 tablespoon Soy sauce
2 tablespoon Oyster sauce
1 One half teaspoon Brown sugar, firmly packed
1 Three fourths cup Green bell pepper, thinly
cut or sliced up
1 cup Onion, thinly cut or sliced up
1 One half cup Freshlycooked rice
Heat oil in wok or large skillet over mediumhigh heat. Add garlic;
stirfry until browned, 20 to 30 seconds. Add beef and stirfry until
browned. Add ginger, fish sauce, and soy sauce; stirfry for 1 minute. Mix
in oyster sauce and sugar. Add bell pepper and onion. Cover, remove from
heat and let stand for 2 minutes. Serve hot over freshlycooked rice.
