Recipe - Stewed Okra

1 pack (20oz) frozen chopped okra
1 Green or red pepper, minced
1 Onion, minced
1 cn (7oz) minced green chiles
1 cn (28oz) tomatoes
3 small Potatoes, minced
2 pt Water (or enough water to
bring the juice from the
canned tomatoes to 2 pints)
Soak the okra in water for 1 hour. Drain. Combine all ingredients and bring
to a boil. Turn down the heat, clamp on the lid, and cook for 30 minutes or
longer until sauce is thick.
Serves 6 to 8.
