Recipe - Stephs Brown Rolls

1 teaspoon Sugar
1 cup Warm water
1 tablespoon Yeast
1 cup Oatmeal
2 tablespoon Oil
2 teaspoon Salt
Three fourths cup Molasses
1 cup Boiling water
1 cup Cold water
6 (up to)
6 One half cup Of flour

Dissolve 1 tsp sugar in cup warm water. Sprinkle 1 tbsp yeast on top. Mix
in bowl: 1 cup oatmeal, 2 tbsp oil, 2 tsp salt, and Three fourths cup molasses. Add 1
cup boiling water and 1 cup cold water. With fork stir yeast, add to
mixture. Add 6 to 6One half cups of flour. Knead. Let rise to twice size. Punch
down. Make into rolls. Dob with margarine on top. Let rise. Bake 350F for
15+ minutes.
