1 pound Flank steak
1 One fourth teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Ground black pepper
4 cup Leaf lettuce; in pieces
1 md Onion; thinly cut or sliced up (2 c)
2 cup Cucumber; thinly cut or sliced up
1 cup Sweet red bell pepper;
cut or sliced up
One fourth cup Olive oil
3 tablespoon Lime juice
One fourth cup Fresh dill; chopped
Preheat broiler. Season steak with One fourth tsp of the salt and 1/8 teaspoon of
the ground black pepper.
Broil 1 to 2 inches from the heat until desired doneness (3 to 4 minutes
per side for mediumrare).
Cut into thin slices; cool slightly. Place in a large salad bowl with
lettuce, onions, cucumber and red pepper, set aside. In a cup, combine
olive oil, lime juice, dill and remaining 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon
black pepper; pour over salad; serve immediately.
