Recipe - State Fairs Best Cherry-Apple Bread

1 cup Water; lukewarm, 80 deg F
One half teaspoon Almond extract
One half teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 One half cup Bread flour
2 tablespoon Dry milk
1 One half tablespoon Sugar
1 One half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Orange rind; grated
2 tablespoon Butter or margarine; cut in
4 pcs
2 teaspoon Active dry yeast; OR
1 One half tsp Rapid Rise yeast
One half cup Cherries; to 1/3 C,
Montmorency,
slightly chop OR
dehydrated cherries
1/3 cup Apples; dehydrated,
slightly chopped
This recipe was the firstplace winner in the Fleischmann's Yeast bread
machine competition at the Minnesota State Fair held last week. It was
created by Renee JanaasJohnson of Brooklyn Center, MN, who used a West
Bend ABM. I haven't tried it yet, but it sounds great. Hope you enjoy it.
