Recipe - Southwestern Style Pizza

One half cup Pizza sauce
One half cup Salsa
1 Pizza (12inch) crust
2/3 cup Canned black beans, rinsed
and drained
1 cup Pineapple Tidbits or
Pineapple Cubes, drained
One half cup Red or green bell pepper,
cut or sliced up
One fourth cup Diced green chiles or
jalapeno pepper slices
One fourth cup Chopped green onions
1 One half cup (6 ounces) shredded
mozzarella cheese
2 tablespoon Chopped fresh cilantro
1. Combine pizza sauce and salsa; spoon sauce over pizza crust. Top with
beans, pineapple, bell pepper, chiles and green onions. Sprinkle with
cheese and cilantro.
2. Bake at 425 F. 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
3. Garnish with extra salsa and avocado slices if desired. In place of
salsa, 1 cup pizza sauce can be used.
