Recipe - Southwestern Style Black Eyed Peas

1 cn Blackeyed peas
1 Carrot, minced
One half Onion, minced
One fourth Green pepper, minced
1 Stalk celery, minced
3 Cloves garlic, minced or
Pressed
One half teaspoon Salt, or to taste
One fourth teaspoon Pepper, or to taste
One fourth teaspoon Tobasco or other hot sauce,
Or to taste
Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan, and bring to boil. Simmer for
at least 10 minutes, but 20 25 is better.
