4 sl Bacon; chopped
1 pt Okra
1 cup Washed rice
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Water

Fry bacon with okra cut in rings When okra is tender, add rice, water,
salt and pepper. Put in rice steamer and cook until dry about 1 One half hours.
Serves 46
Top of Stove: increase water to 1 Three fourths cups, cook 3045 minutes.
