Recipe - Slow Cooker Pinto Beans

1 pound Dried pinto beans
5 cup Water
1 pound Salt pork; rinsed well
1 md Onion; chopped
1 Bottle (12oz) Cola beverage
1 teaspoon Crushed hot red pepper
One fourth teaspoon Thyme
One fourth teaspoon Oregano
Cook beans overnight in slow cooker on low setting with water, salt pork &
onion. Add remaining ingredients & cook on low setting for 10 hours or on
high setting for 8 hours (or until very tender).
