Recipe - Skillet Barbecued Pork Chops

One half teaspoon Garlic powder
One half teaspoon Powdered ginger
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
4 1/2" thick pork loin chops
or steaks
1 tablespoon Oil
One half cup Chili sauce or ketchup
One fourth cup Soy sauce
2 tablespoon Honey
In small bowl, combine garlic, ginger and pepper; blend well. Sprinkle
mixture on both sides of pork chops (reserve any remaining garlic mixture).
Heat oil in large skillet over mediumhigh heat until hot. Add pork chops;
cook 23 minutes on each side or until browned and no longer pink. In small
bowl, combine chili sauce, soy sauce, honey and any remaining garlic powder
mixture; blend well. Pour over pork chops. Reduce heat to low; cover and
simmer 1015 minutes or until pork chops are tender. If desired, serve with
hot cooked rice or potatoes.
