Recipe - Simple Chili

3 pound Coarse ground chili meat
1 tablespoon Onion salt
2 tablespoon Garlic powder
3 tablespoon Chili powder
2 tablespoon Ground Cumin
3 tablespoon Tabasco sauce
15 ounce Can Tomato Sauce
15 ounce Water
OPTIONAL
15 ounce Can Whole Tomatoes, drained
One half tablespoon Cornstarch
Brown chili meat, then pour off fat/grease. Run hot water over meat to
remove additional grease. (Using a strainer or seive helps)
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, stirring. Reduce heat and simmer
1 One half hours covered. If whole tomatoes were added, chop as they cook. Add
the cornstarch during the last One half hour to thicken the liquid if needed.
Serve with saltine crackers.
