Recipe - Sicilian Supper

2 cup Noodles, uncooked
Three fourths cup Water
1 One half teaspoon Salt
1 pound Lean ground beef
One half cup Finely chopped onion
6 ounce Can tomato paste
Three fourths cup Water
One half teaspoon Salt
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
One half teaspoon Garlic salt
Three fourths cup Milk
8 ounce Cream cheese
One half cup Grated Parmesan cheese
One half cup Chopped green pepper
1. In a deep, 2quart, heatresistant, nonmetallic casserole place
noodles, the Three fourths cup of water and the 1 One half teaspoons salt. Heat, covered,
in Microwave Oven 8 minutes or until noodles are tender. Drain noodles and
set aside. 2. Place ground beef into a deep, heatresistant, nonmetallic
2quart casserole and heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 5 minutes or until
meat is no longer red. Stir occasionally to break up meat particles. 3. Add
onions and heat, uncovered, an additional 3 minutes or until onion is
tender. Drain excess fat. 4. Add tomato paste, the Three fourths cup water, the 1/2
teaspoon salt, the pepper and the garlic salt to the beefonion mixture.
Stir to combine. Heat, covered, 3 One half minutes or until mixture bubbles. 5.
Add cooked noodles, milk, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese and chopped green
pepper. Heat, covered, an additional 5 minutes or until mixture is heated
through.
