Recipe - Savory Shrimp

4 sl Bacon, minced
1 Stalk celery, minced
2 Onions, cut or sliced up
4 Green peppers, cut in
rings
1 Clove garlic, minced
2 No 2 cans okra
1 No 2 can tomatoes
One half cup Catsup
1 cn Beer
1 pound Shrimp, cooked
salt and pepper
4 cup Cooked rice
Cook bacon; reserve. Saute celery, onions, green peppers and garlic in
bacon fat until soft. Drain okra; add with tomatoes, catsup and beer.
Simmer till thick. Add shrimp and bacon. Heat well. Season to taste with
salt and pepper. Serve with rice. From the files of Al Rice, North Pole
