Recipe - Savory Party Bread

1 Un cut or sliced up round loaf;
sourdough bread (1 pound)
1 pound Monterey jack cheese; cut or sliced up
One half cup Butter or margarine; melted
One half cup Green onion; chopped
3 teaspoon Poppy seeds; (optional
Cut the bread lengthwise and crosswise without cutting through the bottom
crust (this bread resembles a blooming onion after it's cut). Insert cheese
between cuts. Combine butter, onions and poppy seeds; drizzle over the
bread. Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 ° for 15 minutes.
Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until the cheese is melted.
