Recipe - Sausage And Macaroni Casserole

1 pound Sausage meat
1 Onion; chopped
One fourth teaspoon Pepper
1 Garlic clove; chopped
3 cup Macaroni; cooked
1 cup Mushrooms; drained
1 cup Cottage cheese
One fourth teaspoon Oregano
One fourth cup Spaghetti sauce
One fourth teaspoon Basil
One fourth teaspoon Garlic powder
One fourth teaspoon Dry mustard
Breadcrumbs (opt)
Grated cheese

Preheat oven to 350F. Saute sausage meat till light brown. Drain fat,
separate meat with fork, set aside. Saute onion, garlic & mushrooms. Add
sausage meat, spices. Stir in sauce. Add macaroni & stir. Arrange alternate
layers of macaronimeat mixture and cottage cheese; ending with meat. Top
with bread crumbs & cheese if desired. Bake at 350F for 2530 min. SERVES:4
