Recipe - Sausage Gravy

1 pound Pork sausage, bulk, sage
2 tablespoon Onion, finely chopped
6 tablespoon Flour
1 qt Milk
One half teaspoon Poultry seasoning
One half teaspoon Nutmeg, ground
One fourth teaspoon Salt
Worcestershire, dash
Hot pepper sauce, dash
Angel Biscuits*
Crumble sausage into a large saucepan. Cook over mediumlow heat. Add
onion; cook and stir until transparent. Drain, discarding all but 2
tablespoons of drippings. Stir in flour; cook over mediumlow heat about 6
minutes or until the mixture bubbles and turns golden.
Stir in milk. Add seasonings; cook, stirring, until thickened.
To serve, slice biscuits and spoon gravy over halves. 46 servings.
