Recipe - Sausage Alfresco

1 pack Smoked sausage or Kielbasa
8 ounce Fettuccine;uncooked
One fourth cup Butter or margarine
One fourth cup Onion; finely chopped
1 Clove garlic; minced
1 cup Carrots, zucchini, red pep.
One half cup Peas; frozen
1 cup Heavy cream
2 tablespoon Parsley; chopped
6 tablespoon Grated parmesan
Salt and pepper
Cook fettuccine and keep warm. Saute garlic and onion in large skillet with
butter until tender. Add peas and the cup of mixed vegetables that have
been cut into thin strips and cook until done. (5 minutes) Set aside. Cut
sausage into bite size slices. Brown sausage and drain on paper towels.
Combine sausage, vegetables, and cream. Heat through, but do not boil. Stir
in parsley, cheese, salt, pepper. Serve over fettuccine. Sprinkle with
extra parmesan cheese, if desired. Source: Hillshire Farms Kielbasa package
