Recipe - Saucy Sandwich Rolls

1 pound Hot dogs, cut or sliced up
1 md Onion, chopped
One fourth cup Flour
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
1 ds Pepper
One half teaspoon Dry mustard
One half teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
One half cup Catsup
One half cup Water
1 cup Diced celery
One half cup Grated cheddar cheese (up to
3/4)
One half Stick margerine
Brown weiners, onion, and celery in margerine. Blend in flour. Add
seasonings, catsup, and water. Cook, covered, on low heat until celery is
tender.
Add cheese. Heat until the cheese melts. Serve in warm hot dog rolls. This
will fill about 12 rolls.
Note: When I bought my first house, my nextdoor neighbor was Lynn
Orndorff. She was always cooking and trying new things. This was a keeper
she shared with me...about 25 years ago!
