Recipe - Sangria Southern

1 Lemon; thinly cut or sliced up
1 Orange; thinly cut or sliced up
1 Lime; thinly cut or sliced up
1 (up to)
2 tablespoon Sugar
1 Jigger (1.5oz) Triple Sec
1 Bottle (4/5 quart) dry red
wine
One half cup Club soda; chilled
Additional lime slices
Remove seeds from cut or sliced up fruit. Place slices in glass pitcher and add 1 to
2 Tablespoons sugar. Allow to stand for a few minutes. Add Triple Sec to
cut or sliced up fruit. Stir with a wooden spoon, bruising fruit to extract juices.
Add wine. More sugar may be added if desired. Chill. Just before serving,
add club soda. Serve over ice and garnish with additional lime slices.
Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
