Recipe - Sandys Hominy Casserole

Ingredients:

2 cn (29oz) white hominy
2 cn (4oz) minced green chiles
Salt & pepper to taste
Butter
Sour cream
One half cup Halfandhalf
1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack
cheese

Drain and rinse hominy. Generously butter a 2One half to 3 quart casserole.
Layer ingredients in following order: Hominy, green chilies, salt and
pepper to taste then dot with sour cream and butter. Repeat the layers.
ending with a layer of hominy. Dot the top with butter and pour cream over
all. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve
piping hot.
