Recipe - Salsa Verde (Green Chili Sauce)

Ingredients:

1 md Onion; chopped
2 tablespoon Flour
1 cn Chopped green chilies; (4
oz.)
Three fourths teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter or bacon fat
1 cn Stewed tomatoes; chopped,
(16 oz.)
1 Clove garlic; crushed
1 ds Ground cumin

Saute onion in butter in medium saucepan until tender, about 3 minutes.
Sprinkle in flour; stir to mix. Add all other ingredients; bring to
boiling, lower heat. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Makes about
2 cups.
