Recipe - Ruston Peach Cobbler

FILLING
1 qt Peaches; cut or sliced up
1 One half cup Sugar
2 ds Salt
2 tablespoon Allpurpose flour
One fourth teaspoon Cinnamon
2 teaspoon Lemon juice
1 Stick butter
PASTRY
1 One fourth cup Allpurpose flour
One half cup Shortening
5 tablespoon Cool water
Cook peaches until tender with 2/3 cup sugar, lemon juice and salt. Add 1/2
stick butter, flour, remaining sugar and cinnamon. Top with pastry, pour
remaining butter over top. Cook in preheated 350 oven for 30 minutes until
golden.
