Recipe - Roseanna Banana Cake

Ingredients:

CAKE
2/3 cup Butter Or Margarine
1 2/3 cup Sugar
3 md Eggs
1 One fourth cup Bananas; mashed
2 One fourth cup Flour
1 One fourth teaspoon Baking Powder
1 One fourth teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
2/3 cup Buttermilk
2/3 cup Chopped Nuts
Brown Sugar Frosting
1 cup Brown Sugar; packed
One half cup Butter Or Margarine; melted
One fourth cup Milk
3 cup Powdered Sugar; sifted

CAKE: Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in eggs and
bananas. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add buttermilk
and flour mixture alternately to butter mixture, mixing well after each
addition. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured 13x9 baking pan or
dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 4550 minutes or until cake tester inserted
in center comes out clean. Cool and frost with Brown Sugar Frosting.

FROSTING: Combine brown sugar, butter and milk in saucepan; bring to a
boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; cool 10 minutes. Gradually add
powdered sugar, beating until well blended.
