1 Round steak cut into
Bitesize cubes
3 tablespoon Oil
1 cn Green chiles chopped
1 cn Tomato paste
1 small Onion chopped
1 One half cup Water
3 cl Garlic minced
1 One half teaspoon Ground cumin
One half teaspoon Dried oregano crushed
One fourth teaspoon Black pepper
1 One half teaspoon Sugar
1 One half tablespoon Flour
1 One half teaspoon Salt or to taste
2 tablespoon Chili powder
Recipe by: Los Angeles Times Prodigy Brown meat in hot oil in heavy pot
or large skillet. Add chiles, tomato paste, onion, water, garlic, cumin,
oregano, pepper, sugar, flour, salt and chili powder. Simmer about 1 hour
or until meat is tender and mixture is thickened. Makes 4 servings.
