1 cup Brown sugar, firmly packed
One half cup Hot water
1 cup Seedless raisins
2 tablespoon Butter
4 tablespoon Cider vinegar
1 One half teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
One half teaspoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Black pepper, freshly ground
One fourth teaspoon Ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon Mace
1 cup Currant jelly
Simmer the brown sugar and water together for 5 minutes, stirring until
sugar is dissolved. Add all remaining ingredients, and cook until jelly
dissolves. Simmer an additional 10 minutes. May be made in advance and kept
refrigerated until ready for use. Reheat slowly until simmering.
