Recipe - Roasted Fruits With Cinnamon

GLAZED ALMONDS
1/3 pound Sliced almonds
2 ounce Sugar
One half ounce Egg whites
2 Plums
2 Peaches
2 Pears
2 tablespoon Honey
2 tablespoon Brown sugar
2 tablespoon Red wine
One half teaspoon Cinnamon
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Toss together almonds and sugar. Stir in egg
whites until well mixed. Bake on a lightly greased sheet pan at 300
degrees, turning with a spatula until golden brown and caramelized. Remove.
Break up slightly.
Cut in quarters and remove stones and seeds. In large bowl stir together
honey, brown sugar, red wine and cinnamon. Toss with fruit. Place in a
baking dish and roast in a wood oven or a 400 degree oven until tender,
about 20 to 30 minutes. Garnish with glazed almonds.
