Recipe - Roasted Baby Marrow With Cheese Crust

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon Olive oil
50 g Cream cheese; (2oz)
25 g White breadcrumbs; (1oz)
50 g Mature Cheddar cheese;
grated (2oz)
Salt and freshly ground
black pepper

Preheat the oven to 180 C, 350 F, Gas Mark 4.

Trim each end of the marrows, place on a baking tray, drizzle with olive
oil and bake for 4550 minutes.

Slice the top off each marrow, lengthways, removing only 5mm ( One fourth inch).

Scoop out another 5mm ( One fourth inch) of the flesh, and spread each marrow with
the cream cheese.

Mix the breadcrumbs and Cheddar cheese, spinkle on top of the cream cheese
and return to the oven for 1015 minutes until the cheese and breadcrumbs
go golden and crispy.
