Recipe - Ricks Hot Rice

1 cn (28 oz.) whole plum tomatoes
with juice
1 cup Uncooked rice
1 cup Water
3 Fresh jalapenos; seeded and
minced
1 small Onion; minced
2 tablespoon DurkeeŽ red hot sauce
1 tablespoon Butter
One half teaspoon Salt
1 Clove garlic; crushed
Combine all ingredients in a kettle, breaking up tomatoes with a spoon.
Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Let stand 10
minutes before serving.
